Seminar on “Promoting Entrepreneurship and investments in Food Processing Industry”


The Federation of Telangana and AndhraPradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry-FTAPCCI associating with PHD Chamber Of Commerce and Industry, New Delhi & The Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India is organizing one-day Seminar on “Promoting Entrepreneurship and investments in Food Processing Industry” on 28th March 2018 at 9.30 am to 5.00 pm at FTAPCCI. Lunch at 1.30 pm. 

The objective of the Seminar is to promote entrepreneurs in Food Processing Industry, Facilitate Start-ups, creating visibility about “SAMPADA” Schemes, scaling up the existing units, addressing the need for information over food safety, quality, packaging, certification and prospects of marketing etc. 

Senior Government officials of Telangana Government and renowned speakers have been invited to participate and address in the Seminar.

Seminar on “Cyber Security: Issues and Strategies”


Cyber Security is a necessary consideration for individuals and families, as well as businesses, governments, and educational institutions. Small and medium-sized businesses face critical challenges due to limited resources and information, as well as competing priorities. The speed at which technology is evolving makes it difficult to stay current with security. It doesn’t matter how big or small your business is, if you run an enterprise, you are a potential target of cybercrime. However, better security awareness and planning can help businesses protect their intellectual property and trade secrets, and reduce loss of productivity due to downtime.

The Government of India has taken major initiative -- Digital India for spreading e-Governance throughout the country to promote the outreach of social benefits to the citizens in a very effective manner. This has thrown open a variety of security challenges. Looking at the growing importance for the Information Security, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India (MeitY) has identified this as a critical area.

The main objective of the seminar is to share knowledge and information and to tackle and solve some of the most pressing issues faced on a daily basis i.e. cyber-crime and how to keep within the boundaries of cybersecurity.

National SC-ST Hub-Empowering Youth through Entrepreneurship

India is witnessing a rapid growth and prosperity. For this to be truly inclusive, all sections of the society need to partake in this prosperity. Besides wage employment and education, the marginalized sections of the society also need to envision, create and scale-up ventures to be major participants in this growth story.

There is a need to increase substantially the number of SC-ST entrepreneurs to enable the socio-economic empowerment of the SC-ST communities. The National SC-ST Hub is an initiative of the Government of India targeted towards developing a supportive ecosystem for SC-ST entrepreneurs.

National Scheduled Caste Scheduled Tribe Hub (NSSH National SC ST Hub), an initiative of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises,Government of India
 was launched by the Hon'ble Prime Minister (PMO India) with the objective to achieve the mandate of Public Procurement Policy, 2012 and to promote entrepreneurship among Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) community being implemented by NSIC, a CPSE under the Ministry of MSME.

The Federation of Telangana and AndhraPradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry-FTAPCCI in association with The National Small Industries Corporation Ltd.-NSIC and with the support of Department of Industries and Commerce, SC-ST corporations is organizing an awareness program on “National SC-ST Hub-Empowering Youth through Entrepreneurship” on 15th March 2018 at 02.00 PM at Haritha Kakatiya Hotel, Warangal.

The primary objectives of the program are:
